Ultimate Flickering Fireplace Unit

Our new CK871 Ultimate Flickering Fireplace Unit has been designed to provide the most realistic flickering fire effects available anywhere. Its features create a natural, true-to-life fireplace flicker and not the usual on/off operation. In other words, no more flashing, just a gentle realistic flicker to put warmth and glow into your fireplace and lights.

The unit comes with four bulbs; three flicker and one constant. Each flicker bulb is controlled by a separate electronic circuit, thus creating its own independent flash rate. The supplied bulbs can be installed either in the supplied coal insert or used separately in an existing fireplace.

The included bulbs are oversize to provide the maximum possible light output and are attached with screws for easy removal and replacement; Not soldered in place.
Operates from dollhouse power (either 12VAC or 12VDC) and is guaranteed not to flicker other dollhouse lights.
Small circuit board size (1W X 1 3/4L X 3/4H) allows easy concealment.
Complete installation and operation instructions are included with each package.
The CK871 can also be used to create a flickering Christmas tree. Simply use CK1020-1 or CK1020-2 Xmas strings in lieu of the supplied bulbs for a dramatic Christmas tree display.

The GRS1000 is used to simulate small scale bonfires and campfires on a layout and comes with an attached 1.5V flame-color micro bulb. It can also be used as a very effective "firebox fire" in HO and larger scale steam locomotives.

The GRS205 contains a replacement GRS104 flame-colored micro bulb for the GRS1000 Micro Flamemaker. Comes with insulating 1/16" heat shrink tubing and a foam sticker replacement.

GRS1004 - Super Flamemaker

Our GRS1004 Super Flamemaker realistically simulates larger fires such as a burning structure or working blast furnace. The increased level of light required is achieved through the use of a large 7/8" long x 3/16" diameter high-intensity bulb. Use on all scales. For best results use ac power between 16 and 20 volts such as that available from the accessory terminals of a train power pak.

GRS300 - Super Flamemaker Replacement Bulb

The GRS300 is a replacement bulb, with attached wires, for the GRS1004 Super Flamemaker. Comes with insulating 1/16" heat shrink tubing and a foam sticker replacement. Draws 100ma at 12 volts.

GRS1014 - Ultimate Flame Master

The GRS1014 Ultimate Flame Master (UFM) was developed as a "flame" source intermediate between the GRS1000 and GRS1004. It can be used to replicate everything from "breathing coals" in "N" scale to a roaring fireplace in "G" scale. The UFM recreates (in scale proportions) the color and brilliant sporadic action of a real fire. Viewing may be either direct or indirect; you "set the action" and control lamp brightness. This device has the capability of driving up to six of the larger GRS503 3.0v flame color GOR bulbs. Just like our Ultimate Arc Welder, it comes case assembled with action and brightness controls. The kit includes two custom colored flame bulbs, instructions (with lighting tips) and all required installation materials.

All you need do is connect the wires from this unit to a 12-20 volt ac or dc source, tune to an AM radio station for the effect you want, and sit back to enjoy.
