Unlike ac transformers, our Litepacs provide a fully regulated and filtered dc output that can actually EXTEND bulb life by 50% or more. A "lamp saver" circuit helps prevent harmful ac line surges or spikes form destroying delicate 1.5 volt micro bulbs. The unit will shut down in the event of an overload, overheating or excessive current draw. Comes fully assembled with instructions and mounting hardware.

GRS125 1.5V - Litepac Converter/Regulator
The GRS125 regulator will convert a 4-20 volt ac input into a steady 1.45 volt dc output capable of powering 25 or more 1.5 volt, 15 ma micro bulbs on a layout or in a diorama. Measures 3-1/2" X 2" X 3/4"H

GRS135 - 1.5V Litepac Converter/Regulator(w/12 pak micro bulbs)
The GRS135 is the same as the GRS125 but with an added 12 pak of 1.5 volt micro bulbs.

GRS130 - 3.0V Litepac Converter/Regulator
The GRS130 has been designed specifically as a highly regulated power supply for our 3.0 volt GOR bulbs. A rock steady dc voltage can add hundreds of hours to the bulbs you may be using on your model R/R layout or in scale model cars.
The GRS130 regulator will convert a 6-20 volt ac input into a steady 2.85 volt dc output capable of powering up to 20 3.0V, 40ma, GOR bulbs.

GRS140 - LED Power Converter/Regulator
The GRS140 is the only device on the market today that has been designed expressly for powering the 2.1 to 3.0 volt LEDs used in model signal systems and control panels. The unit has the same characteristics as the GRS125, but with a 2.4vdc output capable of powering up to 40 or more 20ma LEDs.

Our Plug-in transformers provide a safe and convenient 1.5 or 12 volt ac power source. The plug-in feature eliminates the need of building a special transformer enclosure within the model R/R layout. The transformers are each equipped with screw terminals for the secondary output.

The four most popular versions contain a built-in thermal circuit breaker making them virtually burn-out proof. In the event of an overload, or short, the thermal breaker simply opens and removes voltage until the unit cools. After cooling, the breaker resets itself and automatically reapplies voltage to the output.

GRS also produces transformers, with circuit breakers, in UK and European continental versions.Call for details.
